AURA




AURA is the All Users Robotic Arm that you can create at home for 50$. 



 Here we see a whole 3D printable robotic arm, with a really cheap raw material. It has been programmed   to be intuitive and easy to use. All the programs needed for its development are free and easy to get.

We can divide the pieces of this arm in two groups: the printable ones and the electronic parts.
The printable parts are easy to get if you have acces to a 3D printer. If you do not, there are services that can print your pieces and send them to you. You can get all the electronic parts for a good price  by using big internet dealers like hobbyking or dealextreme.
The robotic arm moves through five servos controlled by a microcontroller. They are listed below:

Arduino Leonardo (micocontroller)
Servo Corona 939MG (Servo m)
Servo HK15288A Analog BB/MG (Servo beta)
Servo VS-11 Vigor Extra Large  (Servo alpha)
Servo Turnigy TGY-R5180MG (Servos omega and gamma)

    Can you provide a hardware bill of materials for fasteners (screws, bolts, etc.)?

      On the original design there are no screws nor bolts, all the parts are 3D printed and the axis between them, when needed, can be made with the raw material of the 3D printer ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqNxYHWpYko ) if you don't have the acces to this material or you just don't like the idea you sustitue this axis for the screws that best fit, but there are no specific ones
